For some considerable time an ardent wish has existed among the former students of the Scots College, Valladolid, Spain, to form themselves into a society, having for its objects the continuation of college friendship and the welfare of their Alma Mater. Effect was given to the desire on Tuesday, April 23, when over thirty priests assembled in Stirling, and inaugurated the Society under the above name—the name of the College. Upwards of sixty members have already signified their Intention of joining the Society. The Very Rev. David MacDonald, D.D., the venerable Rector of the Scots College, Valladolid, was unanimously chosen first President. The Society will meet next year in Edinburgh.
